A Safe Space to Explore, Grow, and Heal

At My Therapy Spot, I draw on a range of evidence-based counselling modalities and therapeutic practices, thoughtfully tailored to meet your individual needs.

Whether you are seeking support for healing and recovery following family violence, engaging in dyadic or attachment-focused therapy within the parent–child relationship, pursuing personal growth, processing trauma, or navigating challenges within couple or family dynamics, I provide a compassionate and flexible approach that meets you where you are in your journey

  • Individual Counselling

A personalised space to explore your emotions, challenges, and goals at your own pace. I help people of all ages navigate life transitions, self-discovery, and emotional well-being in a supportive and judgment-free environment.

  • Couples & Family Counselling

Relationships can be complex, but they don’t have to feel impossible. I offer counselling for couples, families, and blended families to improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen connections. Together, we work towards understanding and change.

  • Children & Young People

I provide a safe and nurturing environment for children (ages 4+) and young people to express themselves and develop emotional resilience. Sessions include play therapy and sensory tools to help children process their feelings in a way that feels natural to them.

  • Walk-and-Talk Therapy

Sometimes, healing happens best in motion. Walk-and-talk sessions combine the benefits of counselling with the calming influence of nature. This is a great option for those who feel more comfortable talking while moving rather than sitting in a traditional setting. *conditions apply

  • Somatic Therapy & Breathwork

Our emotions live in the body, not just the mind. I incorporate somatic therapy and breathwork techniques to help release stored tension, reconnect with yourself, and regulate your nervous system. This approach is especially helpful for trauma recovery and stress management.

  • Telehealth Counselling

No matter where you are, support is available. I offer secure online sessions for clients who prefer remote counselling, ensuring access to therapy no matter your location or circumstances.

  • Victims of Crime

As a registered counsellor with the Victims Assistance Program I can provide Victims of Crime counselling to support you through traumatic experiences which have been related to crime.

  • Family Violence Counselling for Women and Children

A safe space where both women and children can express feelings, experiences, and concerns relating to Family Violence. The aim is to empower, bring hope, create coping strategies and rebuild. The overall goal is to foster healing, resilience and sense of security for both women and children.
